Twist on a Choc Chip Recipe

I haven’t done a foodie post in a while so I thought I would do a little twist on a Nigella Lawson recipe. I have loved Nigella since forever, I just love how she keeps the recipes simple and makes cooking appear a lot easier then it actually is. I decided to do the chocolate chip recipe with my own little twist on it. I’m not going to go into every detail I did to make them but will give a general overview. All you need is castor sugar, brown sugar, unsalted butter, packet of chocolate chips, bi-carb soda, two eggs (whole and yolk) and vanilla extract. The added twist is adding peanut butter either smooth or crunch which ever you prefer. I first measured out all the ingredients it saves time and makes it easier to mix thing quickly then mixed the two sugars with the soft butter till smooth. Added the vanilla and two eggs (in the recipe said to have them fridge cold) till smooth then I added two scoops of peanut butter (depends on your taste with you want more add more) and mix that in. Added the flour with the added bi-carb soda and slowly mixed that in, lastly folded in the chocolate chips into the mixture. Laid out the baking paper on the trays ¬†and scooped the mixture on the trays, placing six on a tray. Baked for 15-17 minutes or till golden brown. A really simple recipe and only took maybe 30 minutes to make them. Overall they really tasted good though I would maybe use less chocolate chips, it is also really easy to twist this recipe to have added things like Nutella or white chocolate chips instead.
